Work Experience:
Hume Riverina Community Legal Service welcomes applications for work experience positions from people looking to gain experience in a community legal centre. This work experience is unpaid and voluntary.
To be eligible to apply you must be:
- a law student in your fourth or fifth year of study, or
- a law graduate undertaking professional legal training
We require candidates be:
- willing to undertake a minimum of 20 days placement
- available for a minimum of three days per week from 9am – 5pm
- available to attend our office in person
- willing to assist our lawyers in family law/family violence matters and generalist law matters
Work experience at Hume Riverina Community Legal Service provides an opportunity to learn more about improving access to justice in our region while gaining practical legal skills under the guidance and supervision of experienced legal practitioners.
