Law Week 2022
Law Week runs from 16-22 May, and as always, we are promoting positive things about the law and what we stand for as a community legal service. We know we sit in a privileged position as a cross border legal service. It certainly makes life interesting as a lawyer needing to be across both the law in NSW and Victoria (not to forget Federal) to make sure we can help people on both sides of the border with their legal problems.
We will be holding a number of activities and events, including FREE advice clinics by phone to provide access to justice and link our community with the law.
The popular Women in Law breakfast is on the menu, with special guest speaker Amanda Storey, a Melbourne-based Barrister with an interesting career, and a passion for helping vulnerable consumers. We’re looking forward to gathering around the breakfast table on Thursday 19 May and welcoming everyone to this special event!

FREE Legal Health Check training
Join our lawyer Raissa Butkowski for this FREE training session on how to spot a legal problem and refer to a legal service for help. We know early intervention works, and the sooner a person gets legal assistance, the sooner they can potentially remove a huge stress from their lives. This training is delivered in an easy format and will give you a basic understanding of what a legal is, how to identify and tools to help you refer quickly and easily to a lawyer.
